Thank You Inspire!Boston

The Kelly Brush Foundation hosted Inspire!Boston on Thursday, March 29th at the Cyclorama at Boston Center for the Arts. The event was a huge success, thanks to our sponsors, Active Fund grant recipients, long-time supporters and new friends of KBF. 340 people came together for a fun evening with a silent auction, specialized adaptive equipment for people to try, delicious food and drinks, and some inspiring words from Kelly Brush. In all, over $250,000 was raised towards improving the lives of people with spinal cord injuries and ski racing safety.

Inspire!Boston had some fun new activities this year that helped more people to interact with adaptive equipment.

  • Virtual golfing set-up with an adaptive standing golf chair
  • Sled-hockey set-up with synthetic ice and a net to shoot on
  • Zwift side-by-side virtual handcycling station where people could race their friends and see their power output.

We want to thank everyone who made Inspire!Boston such a special and successful night. Your support has a big impact! We will be welcoming a new Active Fund grant class into the #KBFamily at the end of April, and donations from Inspire!Boston are going directly towards awarding adaptive equipment grants to as many applicants as possible.
